Rag Anurag Music Research Academy is the brainchild of Smt Smriti Lala... Born with a heartfelt passion for music, her childhood was spent in the playgrounds of her grandfather's music room, listening to his riyaz and where the ragas became her playmate. As a teenager she grew into a Classical Vocalist of repute. She nourished her dream to continue her love and affection for music, so after her marriage and almost two decades back in 2001, under the guidance of Hon'ble Justice Amitava Lala, husband of Smt. Lala, they introduced a Musical journey called "Rag Anurag". As a music traning institute we have come a long way and become a Music Research Academy of International reputation. Our beloved Didi - Smt. Smriti Lala has always been a true leader and a mentor for the faculty and the students. This academy is also involved in social reforms and adds several values to the society. Smt. Smriti Lala has inspired the aged, upcoming artists, street children & extended her hand to the thalassemia patients as well. This academy has received numerous recognitions under the leadership of Smt. Lala and the legacy built, are the first few pages for what will surely end up as a novel. Though we lost almost two years due to the pandemic, the devotion and commitment of the founder, faculties and students bridged the gaps rapidly and Rag Anurag has almost recovered to it's former glory. This academy is committed to the parents and their students to give a healthy and learning environment in the academy and teach them the finest levels of cultural education to fulfil their dreams in life. Our academy is affiliated to the renowned International & National music schools to grant the highest level of certifications, which will help the students in their future.
